Emirates Pharmaceuticals showcases its most prominent initiatives in “Made in the UAE 2026”

During its participation in the “Make in the UAE 2026” exhibition, which kicks off tomorrow at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center – ADNEC, the Emirates Pharmaceutical Corporation will showcase its initiatives aimed at empowering the national pharmaceutical industry, enhancing its competitiveness and raising the efficiency of its system, thus contributing to supporting the sector’s sustainability and developing its future capabilities.

This participation reflects a qualitative shift in the path of the pharmaceutical sector in the country, and consolidates the UAE’s position as a regional center for the pharmaceutical industry.

10 national factories for human and veterinary medicines are participating within the Foundation’s platform in the four-day exhibition, in addition to facilities specializing in agricultural and health products, and existing and emerging companies that manufacture various medical products in the country in the fields of similar medicines, innovative pharmaceutical technologies, medical equipment, veterinary products, fertilizers and pesticides.

The Director General of the Emirates Drug Corporation, Dr. Fatima Al Kaabi, confirmed that the efforts made by the Corporation reflect tangible progress in the efficiency of regulatory procedures and the speed of responding to the needs of the sector, by accelerating registration and licensing paths and simplifying the processes associated with introducing pharmaceutical products to the market.

She said that participation reflects the organization’s ability to harmonize regulatory frameworks with advanced industry requirements, which shortens the time needed to launch products and enhances the readiness of the local market to deal with developments. We focus on employing digital solutions in developing services, and raising the level of transparency and operational efficiency, which contributes to creating a business environment that supports the growth of companies and facilitates their expansion inside and outside the country.

The Emirates Pharmaceutical Corporation’s participation in the “Make in the UAE 2026” exhibition comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to enhance the competitiveness of the local pharmaceutical industry, support its localization, and build strategic partnerships that contribute to the transfer of knowledge and advanced technologies.

It is expected that this participation will contribute to opening new horizons for cooperation with local and international partners, supporting the growth of the sector and enhancing the UAE’s position as a regional center for pharmaceutical industries based on innovation and sustainability.
