Two commercial ships flying the American flag successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz

US Central Command said on Monday that two commercial ships flying the American flag had crossed the Strait of Hormuz, at a time when US Navy destroyers equipped with guided missiles were operating in the Gulf.

She added in a statement, “The American forces are actively supporting the efforts made to restore commercial shipping traffic.”
