Emirates Airlines has resumed operation of 96% of its global network

Dubai, May 4 / WAM / Emirates Airlines continues to restore its operational operations, as it approaches its return to normal levels, as it has resumed operating 96% of its global network following recent regional developments.
According to a press release issued by the carrier today, over the past weeks, it has gradually resumed its services across the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, the Far East, Australia and New Zealand.
Today, Emirates Airlines operates flights to 137 destinations in 72 countries, with more than 1,300 flights weekly, equivalent to 75% of its operational capacity before the recent developments.
The carrier continues to increase the number of flights, seats and travel options available daily, confirming Dubai’s position as a vital hub for global travel.
During the period from March 1 to April 30, Emirates Airlines carried 4.7 million passengers, despite operating a reduced flight schedule, which reflects the strength of travel demand and continued customer confidence in the carrier.
