Before June 30.. “Human Resources” calls on “private” companies to accelerate the achievement of Emiratisation goals

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation called on private sector companies that employ 50 workers or more to accelerate the achievement of the semi-annual Emiratisation targets, which are to achieve a 1% growth in skilled jobs, before the deadline set for June 30, 2026.
The Ministry stressed the importance of companies committing to these targets within the specified time frame, noting that the remaining period until the deadline is about 56 days, which requires accelerating the pace of employment and completing plans related to enhancing the participation of national talents in the labor market.
Through its digital platforms, the Ministry called on companies that have not yet completed their targets to benefit from the electronic platform of the “Nafis” program, which provides a wide base of citizens seeking work in various specializations and fields, to facilitate recruitment, training and qualification processes, in a way that helps establishments achieve the required targets within the specified time frames.
The Ministry is scheduled to begin, starting from the first of next July, to verify the extent of companies’ commitment to achieving the required targets, including registering the citizen who is appointed in one of the social insurance funds and committing to paying the subscription on a regular basis, in order to avoid the financial contributions that will be imposed on companies that are not committed to meeting what is required of them.
She explained that achieving Emiratisation goals comes within the framework of national policies aimed at empowering citizens in the private sector and raising their participation rates in quality and skilled jobs, thus contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of the labor market and supporting sustainable economic development in the country.
The Ministry called on community members to report any violating practices via the call center (600590000) or through the Ministry’s smart application, noting that Emiratisation targets were set to enhance the role of citizens in the labor market and enable them to effectively contribute to economic development, as this is a pivotal national responsibility.
She affirmed her confidence in the awareness of private sector companies and job-seeking citizens of the strategic and national benefits and the positive impact of Emiratisation mechanisms on the competitiveness of the work environment in the country and the promotion of economic growth in the country.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has a digital field monitoring system that is distinguished by its efficiency in monitoring negative practices, whether in terms of attempts to resort to “sham” Emiratisation or circumventing Emiratisation targets, and taking legal measures against violators.
