Abdullah bin Zayed discusses by telephone with a number of officials and foreign ministers the repercussions of the treacherous Iranian terrorist attacks on the Emirates.

During phone calls with a number of officials and foreign ministers of sisterly countries, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed the repercussions of the treacherous Iranian terrorist attacks that targeted civilian sites and facilities in the UAE using missiles and drones.

His Highness held telephone discussions with Dr. Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, Ayman Al-Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Badr Abdel-Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Highness, officials and ministers expressed their strong condemnation of the renewed treacherous Iranian terrorist attacks on the UAE, which represent a clear violation of the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, and a direct threat to the country’s security, stability and territorial integrity.

They stressed the UAE’s full and legitimate right to respond to these attacks, in a way that ensures the protection of its sovereignty, national security, and the safety of its lands, citizens, residents, and visitors, in accordance with international law.

For his part, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during telephone calls, expressed his appreciation for the positions of solidarity shown by sister countries towards the UAE, stressing the safety of all residents and visitors on its soil.

The telephone discussions discussed ways to enhance international cooperation and intensify joint efforts to establish sustainable peace in the region and consolidate regional security and stability.
