The dollar fell against most major currencies

The price of the Australian dollar reached 0.7208 Dollar, up nearly 0.4% in early trading.
The New Zealand dollar rose 0.3% to $0.5905, and the dollar index fell 0.01% to $98.299.
In front of the Japanese currency, it reached 157.62 yen against the dollar, down 0.17% from late trading levels in the United States.
