Emirates Airlines receives 20 new aircraft and transports 53.2 million passengers

Emirates Airlines received 20 new aircraft during the fiscal year 2025-2026. The carrier also acquired 29 Airbus A380 aircraft and 5 Boeing 777 aircraft with the expiration of their lease contracts, and the total number of aircraft in the fleet reached 277 aircraft, with an average age of 10.8 years.
Emirates continued to support its growth by receiving 15 new Airbus A350 aircraft during the year, and by the end of the financial year, the number of aircraft of this model in service reached 19 aircraft operating flights to 21 destinations.
According to the carrier’s financial results, Emirates Airlines succeeded in raising 10 billion dirhams through financing arrangements for aircraft across local and international markets, which included Japanese operating lease contracts, insurance-backed financing, and French tax leasing structures, in addition to financing supported by export credit agencies.
Emirates Airlines carried 53.2 million passengers during the fiscal year, and seat capacity reached 78.4% compared to 78.9% in the previous year, while the rate of return per passenger per kilometer increased by 4% to 38.1 fils (10.4 US cents).
