"What is it?".. A production capacity of 24,000 bottles per hour and global expansion to spread technologies for producing water from air

Abu Dhabi, 7 May / WAM / “Mahwa”, a company specializing in technologies for producing water from air, confirmed that its participation in “Make in the UAE” comes within the framework of showcasing innovative and sustainable industrial solutions developed in the UAE and aiming to expand to global markets.
Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chief Financial Officer of the Baynouna Group, which owns Mahwah, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, on the sidelines of “Made in the UAE 2026,” that the exhibition represents an important platform for highlighting UAE industrial innovations and demonstrating the ability of national companies to develop advanced technologies “from the Emirates to the world.”
He pointed out that one of the most prominent advantages of the technology developed by “Mahwa” is the ease of transporting and moving devices between different locations, in addition to its environmental efficiency, pointing out that the company has established a bottled water factory with a production capacity of up to 24 thousand water bottles per hour.
He explained that “Mahwa” began its work in 2021 based on the idea of developing innovative solutions to generate water in a sustainable way, noting that the company adopted modern technologies that were subject to extensive studies and experiments in cooperation with major universities within the country, before moving to the stages of commercial application and manufacturing.
He added that the company was able to develop devices to produce water from air in quantities ranging from 30 liters to 6,000 liters per day, depending on the size of the device and the nature of use, explaining that small devices are intended for homes and offices, while larger devices are used for industrial purposes.
Al Nuaimi stressed that the company is working to expand the spread of this technology globally, especially in areas that suffer from a shortage of potable water, explaining that “Mahwa” has already begun expanding outside the UAE by entering markets in Africa.
He added that future plans focus on establishing new factories in various parts of the world, with the aim of enhancing the spread of technologies for producing water from the air and providing sustainable water solutions around the world, in cooperation with entities and institutions concerned with providing water to areas in need.
