Reem Al Hashemi chairs a tripartite Emirati-French-Indian meeting in Abu Dhabi to discuss prospects for strategic cooperation.

Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, chaired a tripartite Emirati-French-Indian meeting, held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of the Secretary-General of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Martin Prinz, and the Undersecretary of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vikram Misri.
The meeting discussed the importance of establishing a joint working mechanism for tripartite cooperation, and identifying the most prominent sectors of strategic value to the three countries, which contributes to enhancing coordination and pushing cooperation towards more sustainable and influential areas.
A plan for future projects within the tripartite cooperation framework was also reviewed, with the French and Indian sides welcoming the plan, which included a number of promising sectors, including artificial intelligence, space, nuclear energy, ocean exploration, and semiconductors, in addition to other strategic areas.
Al Hashemi stressed that the UAE has historical and strategic relations with both the Republic of France and the Republic of India, noting that the current stage represents an important opportunity to expand the horizons of existing strategic partnerships and expand tripartite cooperation in a way that serves the common interests of the three countries and their peoples.
