Dubai continues to consolidate its position as a global luxury capital

During his meeting with the CEO of Cartier International, Louis Verla, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, discussed opportunities for cooperation in the luxury products sector in the Emirates.

His Highness said through his official account on the “X” platform: “Today I met with Louis Ferla, CEO of Cartier International, and we discussed opportunities for cooperation in the luxury products sector in the Emirates, and ways to enhance Dubai’s position as a global destination for luxury retail.”

His Highness continued, saying: “The business environment in the UAE supports the expansion of international brands, and the partnership approach with the private sector is a major driver of our economic growth.”

His Highness added: “Innovation and design are the basis for enhancing the competitiveness of the luxury retail sector in Dubai and developing shopping experiences that meet the aspirations of its residents and visitors from all over the world.”
