The official visit of the Emirati delegation to the Syrian capital, Damascus, was met with wide welcome and great interaction from the Emiratis and Syrians, who expressed, through the hashtag #Syria_welcomes_the_Emirates, their happiness with this step, which carries with it hope and optimism for a more stable and prosperous tomorrow.

Followers confirmed, through the hashtag, that the warm reception received by the Emirati delegation upon its arrival in Damascus reflects the special position that the Emirates enjoys in the hearts of Arabs in general, and Syrians in particular, and also embodies the extent of appreciation for its influential Arab role and presence.

Observer Saif Al-Darai said, via the “X” platform: “The warm reception of the Emirati delegation reflects the special place of the Emirates in the hearts of the Arabs, and its role as a force of peace and stability.”

While Muhammad Taqi said: “What the Emirati delegation received was not an ordinary reception, but rather a message of appreciation for the status of the Emirates and its influential Arab presence.”

Observers also pointed to the depth of the relations between the Emirati and Syrian peoples, which are based on affection, common history, and sincere ties of brotherhood.

Regarding Syria’s place in the hearts of the Emiratis, Omran Al Hayas said: “Syria is in the heart of the Emirates and in the heart of every Emirati.”

On the Syrian side, the Syrians expressed their happiness at the visit of the Emirati delegation to Damascus, by publishing photos and video clips of the reception moment, along with scenes of the Emirati flags that decorated the streets of the capital.

Many confirmed, through the hashtag #Syria_welcomes_the_Emirates, that the warmth with which the Emirati delegation was received reflects the great position of the Emirates in the hearts of Syrians.

Dima Al-Mulla wrote: “Welcome to the Emirati delegation in beloved Syria.”

While Abdul Jalil Al-Saeed summarized the scene by saying: “The new Syria welcomes the sister Emirates.”

The sight of the UAE flag flying in the sky of Damascus had a special impact in the hearts of the Syrians, who saw it as a sign of hope and stability for their country.

Follower Camelia Balqis said: “The Emirati flag is flying in the sky of the Levant. The Syrian reception of the Emirati delegation wins in every sense of the word.”

In the same context, many people shared the saying of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him: “The people of Syria have pride in their hearts… and Damascus is its love before and after.”
