Expo City Dubai invites the public to visit “Dubai Vision” and the Expo Museum

Expo City Dubai announced the opening of the doors of “Dubai Vision” free of charge to visitors on the occasion of International Museum Day, to enjoy a captivating experience that tells the story of Dubai, its legacy, and the career of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.

From May 16 to May 18, visitors can celebrate the spirit of belonging, pride, and pride in the homeland, and enjoy the “Dubai Vision” experience, inspired by authentic Emirati values, which highlights milestones between the past and present, the journey of its wise leadership, and the message of Dubai, which has transformed from a small city on the coast of the Arabian Gulf into a leading global model. This program comes in line with the slogan of International Museum Day 2026, “Museums unite a divided world,” and is part of Expo City Dubai’s endeavors, which focus on consolidating national identity and enhancing national belonging and loyalty, to leave an impact that connects visitors to the nation’s heritage and values ​​rooted in our society.

The Expo 2020 Museum will also open its doors to visitors free of charge to introduce them to some of the most prominent stations in this pioneering event, which embodied the finest images of teamwork and the spirit of solidarity and creativity among the various cultures of the world, and which contributed a prominent role in consolidating the UAE’s position in the global scene.

“Dubai Vision” offers its visitors a captivating experience inspired by the book of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, “My Story: 50 Stories in Fifty Years,” which accompanies them through scenes that simulate the desert nature and the values that His Highness grew up with, and then takes them to an imaginary simulation of His Highness’s room in which he grew up at Zabeel Palace, leading to an exhibition that includes an exceptional model of the horse most beloved to His Highness’s heart, “Dubai Millennium,” in which he saw His Highness is an embodiment of the values he espouses and the characteristics of commitment, persistence and excellence.

After that, visitors will explore old Dubai, and what its people went through in order to make a living, their dependence on the craft of diving and pearl fishing, and the economic reality that depends on it, which inspired the pursuit of economic diversification for long-term prosperity.
The experience concludes with scenes that bring together the voices of Dubai’s diverse residents from all societies, showing how the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid was embodied in people’s lives and how it shaped the communities that create the city’s future.

On the occasion of World Museum Day, the three-day program at Expo City Dubai includes the opportunity to visit “Terra” for 20 dirhams for an entry ticket, where visitors enjoy learning about the diverse environmental patterns in the region, embodied in halls designed with interactive displays and unique gardens that provide immersive experiences for the senses, in addition to enjoying the indoor “Energy Island” experience dedicated to children, including interactive and fun educational spaces for the little ones, which enhances Expo City’s position as an inspiring destination that combines cultural, entertainment and educational experiences. Which contributes to uniting members of society, consolidating the values of solidarity, and enhancing the spirit of belonging to the homeland.
