“Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation” launches a complex for maintenance and light industries

The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project in Dubai South, the area designated for developing the aviation sector in the emirate, launched the maintenance and light industries complex, in a move that reflects its commitment to keeping pace with the increasing demand in various fields of the sector.

A statement issued yesterday stated that the new complex extends over an area of 24,900 square metres, and includes 33 units specially designed to support a wide range of activities related to the aviation sector.

The project provides modern and expandable spaces, designed to meet the needs of companies looking for higher operational efficiency, with the possibility of combining units in line with changing business requirements. The complex is located within the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, which enhances its ability to support aviation operators and air logistics services within the integrated “Dubai South” system. The project is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 2027.

Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, Tahnoun Saif, said, “The launch of this complex reflects the project’s commitment to supporting the aviation sectors and related supply chains,” pointing out that the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project continues to develop an infrastructure that keeps pace with current market requirements and anticipates its future needs, enabling companies to expand efficiently within an integrated system.

He added: “These efforts are in line with the vision of our wise leadership to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global aviation capital.”

It is noteworthy that the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project provides international companies in the field of aviation with a high level of connectivity and communication, as it is a free zone for the world’s leading airlines, private aviation companies, aircraft maintenance, repair and renewal companies and related activities.
