Iran will have a “very bad” time if we do not reach an agreement

US President Donald Trump said that Iran will have a very bad time if an agreement is not reached with it.

Trump explained to the French channel BFM that he does not know whether an agreement will be reached with Iran soon, but he indicated that the Iranians are interested in reaching an agreement.

Trump continued: “Iran will have a very bad time if an agreement is not reached.”

The New York Times had previously revealed, citing officials in the Middle East, that the United States and Israel are making intensive preparations for the possibility of resuming military operations against Iran, perhaps as early as next week, amid rising estimates of the collapse of the diplomatic track.

According to the report, US President Donald Trump returned from his visit to China to face a decisive decision about returning to direct military strikes against Iran, after what the report described as “peace councils” faltered during the past weeks.

The newspaper quoted Trump as saying that the latest Iranian proposal is unacceptable, adding: “If I do not like the first sentence, I will throw it in the trash,” repeating his threat that Tehran “either reaches an agreement or will be destroyed.”
