40% completion of the Shinouf water lines project

Sharjah, May 17 / WAM / The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority is intensifying its efforts to complete the water lines extension project in the Al Shanouf 2 and 3 regions, with a total length of 29 kilometers, at a cost exceeding 12 million dirhams.

So far, the Authority has completed 40%, as part of its strategic plan to enhance infrastructure.

Engineer Faisal Al Sarkal, Director of the Water Department at the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, confirmed that the “Al Shanouf” project represents a priority among the Authority’s current projects, and includes extending main and subsidiary water lines of different diameters to cover all residential plans in the region, in addition to installing valves and advanced control systems.

He added that the new water networks and lines implemented by the authority are according to the best specifications.
