Egypt condemns the targeting of the vicinity of the Barakah nuclear power plant in the UAE

The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned and denounced the targeting of the United Arab Emirates by a drone.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said – in a statement issued today – that this blatant attack represents a dangerous escalation and a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the sisterly State of the UAE and the rules of international law, reaffirming its full solidarity with the sisterly State of the United Arab Emirates.

It stressed its firm and steadfast position that the security of the UAE and other sisterly Gulf countries represents an integral part of Egyptian national security.
