Aboul Gheit condemns the targeting of the vicinity of the Barakah nuclear power plant

Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, condemned the drone attack that targeted the vicinity of the Barakah nuclear power plant in the United Arab Emirates, stressing that this blatant attack represents an extremely dangerous escalation to the security of the entire region and a flagrant violation of the provisions of international law and the norms of protecting civilian nuclear facilities.

The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States affirmed solidarity with the UAE in the measures it takes to ensure the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protect its interests and capabilities.
