Oil rises by more than 1%

Oil prices rose today, Monday, by more than 1%.

Brent crude futures rose by $1.44, or 1.32 percent, to reach $110.70 per barrel, after touching its highest level since May 5 earlier in the session.

US West Texas Intermediate crude also rose to $107.26 per barrel, an increase of $1.84, or 1.75 percent, after reaching its highest level since May 4.
