The National Cybersecurity System is a global model for protecting digital infrastructure

The Chairman of the UAE Government Cybersecurity Council, Dr. Mohammed Al Kuwaiti, confirmed that the national cybersecurity system represents a world-leading model, as it reflects advanced readiness and high efficiency in confronting digital threats and enhancing the country’s cyberspace security.

Muhammad Al-Kuwaiti said that the Cybersecurity Council, through its participation in the activities of the International Exhibition for National Security and Risk Prevention (ISNR 2026), is keen to protect the national cybersecurity system by monitoring any threats aimed at penetrating national systems and confronting them efficiently and effectively.

Al-Kuwaiti explained that the Cyber ​​Security Council succeeded in confronting more than 645 cyber attacks that targeted the “ISNR 2026” exhibition on its first day, pointing to the Council’s role in protecting the UAE society from various cyber threats and attacks, confronting them, and deterring them using modern national technologies that were developed by Emirati hands.

Al-Kuwaiti pointed out the pivotal role played by university students in supporting the council’s efforts through their participation in the “Cybersecurity Hackathon,” which contributes to enhancing national competencies and raising the readiness of specialized cadres in this vital sector.

Al-Kuwaiti pointed out the development of innovative national solutions that include encryption techniques, quantum technology, auditing and insurance solutions, in addition to securing artificial intelligence agents, in line with the state’s trend towards using these agents in more than 50 percent of the federal government.

Al Kuwaiti stressed the importance of setting the necessary standards and policies to ensure the security of artificial intelligence agents and secure their use in a way that enhances the process of digital transformation and consolidates the UAE’s leadership in adopting future technologies.
