Dubai Maritime opens a new business center worth 160 million dirhams

Dubai Maritime City, one of the most prominent pioneering infrastructure projects of the Dubai Ports World Group (DP World), announced the opening of the new “Maritime Business Center 2”, a luxury commercial tower worth AED 160 million, which adds premium office space to Dubai’s advanced maritime and commercial system.

A statement issued yesterday stated that the new tower is located in the commercial district of Dubai Maritime City, and was completed within 20 months, with 78% of its spaces leased before its opening, which reflects the strong demand for high-quality commercial spaces in strategically connected business districts in Dubai.

The Maritime Business Center includes 125 exclusive luxury office units ranging in size from 40 to 980 square metres, enjoying views of the waterfront and meeting various business requirements. The project offers two categories of offices, the first fully equipped offices ready for immediate operation, and the second offices with basic structures that give tenants the flexibility to customize their work spaces according to their operational needs and requirements of their visual identity. The tower also includes a floor dedicated to health and well-being that includes a gym, entertainment facilities, retail outlets and spaces. For restaurants and cafes, in addition to 480 parking spaces, including designated parking lots for electric and hybrid vehicles and others for people of determination, as well as smart building systems designed to reduce energy consumption.

Chief Operating Officer, Dubai Maritime City, Ahmed Al Hammadi, said: “The strong demand for pre-leasing in the Maritime Business Center confirms continued confidence in Dubai Maritime City as a strategic destination for companies operating in the maritime and trade-related sectors.”
