Dubai Police distributes Eid clothing to the children of female inmates on Eid Al Adha

As part of its annual initiative, “You Made Me Happy,” the Dubai Police General Command, represented by the General Department of Human Rights and in cooperation with the General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions, distributed Eid clothing to the children of female inmates, with the aim of bringing joy and happiness to their hearts with the advent of Eid Al-Adha.

This initiative was witnessed by Brigadier General Salah Bouasiba, Director of the General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions, his deputy, Colonel Yousef Abdel Karim Jumaa, Colonel Jamila Al Zaabi, Director of the Women’s Prison Administration, Major Rashid Nasser, Head of the Child Protection Department in the General Administration of Human Rights, and a number of officers, individuals and employees.

This initiative comes within the framework of the Dubai Police General Command’s keenness to consolidate the values ​​of social solidarity and humanitarian work, and to enhance the psychological and social stability of female inmates’ children, in line with its approach to supporting humanitarian groups and consolidating family ties, especially during occasions and holidays that carry special emotional and social dimensions.

The “You Made Me Happy” initiative embodies the humane and civilized approach adopted by Dubai Police in its dealings with female inmates and their families, by launching community initiatives that enhance the psychological and social aspects and establish the values ​​of compassion, tolerance and community cohesion. The initiative also reflects Dubai Police’s interest in providing a supportive correctional environment that contributes to the rehabilitation of female inmates and enabling them to return to society in a positive and stable manner.
