The Ministry of Rental Disputes Resolution launches the “Lama Eid” initiative to release 54 inmates, worth 3.5 million dirhams.

The Rental Disputes Resolution Center, represented by its “Hand of Goodness” Committee, launched a new humanitarian initiative entitled “Eid Lamma”, in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable Foundation, coinciding with the approaching Eid Al Adha, in a step that embodies the values ​​of compassion and community solidarity pursued by the Emirate of Dubai, and aims to alleviate the living and humanitarian burdens on families struggling with rental issues.

The initiative aims to settle the financial obligations of 54 inmates detained over rental issues, by paying sums of money amounting to 3.5 million dirhams, allowing them to be released and able to return to their families and loved ones to spend the Eid atmosphere within their family and social environment.

The initiative reflects an integrated model of cooperation between judicial authorities and charitable and humanitarian institutions, which contributes to enhancing family and social stability, and reducing the repercussions resulting from financial distress and rental issues, especially those that lead to legal consequences that affect family cohesion and stability.

The Center stressed that the initiative comes within a work system that takes into account the humanitarian and judicial dimensions at the same time, by adopting practical solutions that contribute to restoring balance to the lives of individuals and alleviating the living pressures on their families, in a way that enhances the values ​​of solidarity and community cohesion.

For its part, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable Foundation continues to implement community and humanitarian initiatives aimed at supporting needy and distressed families, and establishing a culture of giving and sustainable charitable work inside and outside the UAE, in line with the country’s approach to enhancing the quality of life and community cohesion.
