Etihad Trains unveils the first uniform for passenger train crew

Etihad Rail Company, the developer and operator of the national railway network in the UAE, unveiled the official uniform for the passenger train crew, in a move that allows the public to see for the first time one of the most prominent visual symbols of the national railway network in the country, before the gradual start of passenger train services.

The new uniform, designed in modern shades of gray and distinctive touches of red, will be worn by train attendants, station teams, and staff who will deal directly with passengers on board the train. This collection was developed to reflect the values ​​of Etihad Rail, and to combine professionalism, authentic reception, safety, and modern Emirati hospitality.

The unveiling of the official uniform comes to embody a new stage in the process of preparing for the start of passenger train services, which will take place in thoughtful stages, thus contributing to connecting communities and inaugurating a new phase of transportation throughout the various parts of the Emirates.

Design that suits the country’s environment and operating requirements
The uniform was specifically designed to suit the UAE environment and the operational requirements of modern rail travel, with an emphasis on comfort, ease of movement, and efficient performance, while maintaining a stylish and distinctive visual identity. The design details and cuts were carefully studied to give the uniform a modern character, reflecting a distinctive institutional sophistication.

Although it is designed to be an official uniform for the crew, it forms part of the passengers’ experience with Etihad Train, and reflects the identity of the teams that will receive passengers on board the trains, accompany their journeys across the network, and contribute to consolidating the culture of train travel in the UAE for future generations.

Shades of gray were chosen to express confidence, calm and reliability, while the red touches were inspired by the energy and ambition that characterize the corporate identity of Etihad Trains, and the UAE’s vision to continue progress and enhance interconnectedness.

Adhraa Al Mansouri, Executive Director of the Commercial Sector at Etihad Rail for Passenger Services, said: “The unveiling of the uniform represents an important step in the process of operating passenger train services. This uniform is part of our visual identity, and more importantly, it expresses the difference that will be the first interface of the experience that Etihad Trains provides to thousands of new passengers in the coming years.”

Al Mansoori added: “In designing the uniform, we were keen to carefully consider every detail to reflect the values ​​that form the essence of Etihad trains, which are safety, professionalism, hospitality and national pride. As we prepare to welcome passengers on board our trains for the first time, this uniform contributes to telling the story of a modern railway network designed around people, interconnectedness and experience.”

The unveiling of the uniform comes as part of Etihad Trains’ preparations to begin the gradual operation of passenger train services, which in its first phase will connect a number of main stations according to a studied gradual sequence, ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability and passenger experience from the first day of operation.
