Oil prices drop 7%

New York, May 26 / WAM / Oil prices fell 7% today, Monday. Brent crude futures fell $7.24 to $96.30 per barrel by 1843 GMT, and US West Texas Intermediate crude fell $6.30, or 6.5 percent, to $90.88 per barrel. Trading volume was weak due to the Memorial Day holiday in the United States.
