Decline in the prices of gold and other precious metals

Capitals, May 28/WAM/ Gold prices declined today, Thursday.

By 01:29 GMT, the price of gold in spot transactions fell by 0.8% to $4419.60 per ounce, and US gold futures contracts for June delivery fell by 0.7% to $4417.10.

As for other precious metals, silver fell by 1.7% to $73.34 per ounce, platinum lost 0.5% to $1,909.15, and palladium fell 0.7% to $1,381.64.
