3 people were killed in an explosion in the American city of Dallas

3 people, including a child, were killed as a result of an explosion followed by a massive fire in an apartment building in Dallas America, while at least 5 others were injured and taken to hospitals.

Dallas Fire and Rescue Department spokesman Jason Evans explained that the explosion occurred while fire brigades were heading to respond to a report about a gas leak in a two-story residential complex located in the Oak Cliff neighborhood south of downtown.

He reported that the force of the explosion shook neighboring homes, while thick clouds of black smoke rose that could be seen from long distances.
