The dollar stabilizes after recording a weekly loss

Capitals, June 1, 2017: The US dollar stabilized today, Monday, after ending last week with losses.

The dollar index, which measures the performance of the US currency against a basket of major currencies, recorded the 99.00 level after declining 0.4% last week.

The euro fell by 0.08% to $1.165, while the British pound fell by 0.07% to $1.3449.

The New Zealand dollar also fell 0.17% to $0.5978, while the Australian dollar settled at $0.7181.

On the other hand, the Japanese yen fell 0.08% to record 159.41 yen against the dollar.
