Oil falls on settlement with anticipation of an agreement with Iran

Oil prices fell about three percent at the settlement, today, Thursday, amid hopes for an end to the American and Israeli war on Iran, which could lead to the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, following the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon.
Brent crude futures fell $2.78, or 2.84 percent, to $95.03 per barrel at settlement, and US West Texas Intermediate crude fell $2.98, or 3.1 percent, to $93.04.
