Gold is declining and heading to record a weekly loss

Gold prices fell slightly during trading today, heading towards recording a weekly loss.

Gold fell in instant transactions by 0.3% to $4,462.22 per ounce by 00:49 GMT, declining by about 1.6% since the beginning of the week.

US gold futures for August delivery also fell by 0.4% to $4,489 per ounce.

In the precious metals market, silver fell by 0.6% to $73.45 per ounce, while platinum fell by 1.3% to $1876.58, and palladium fell by 1.5% to $1301.25 per ounce.
