A sharp decline in US stock indices"Nasdaq" declines 4.18%

NEW YORK, June 6 (WAM) – US stock indices fell sharply on Friday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 695 points to 50,866 points, a decrease of 1.35 percent.

The US Nasdaq index, which focuses on heavy technology, fell 1,121 points to 25,709 points, a decrease of 4.18 percent.

The Standard & Poor’s 500 index fell about 200 points to reach 7,383 points, a decrease of 2.65 percent, recording the largest decline since April last year.
