Monday, June 15, Hijri New Year holiday in the Dubai government

The Dubai Government Human Resources Department announced that Monday, June 15, 2026, will be an official holiday for Dubai government agencies, departments, and institutions on the occasion of the Hijri New Year 1448 AH, with official working hours resuming on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
Excluded from this are entities that have employees who work in shifts, or whose jobs are related to serving the public or managing public facilities and services, as those entities are responsible for setting work hours for these categories in a way that suits their operational requirements, and in a way that ensures continuity of services and efficiency of operations during the holiday period.
On this occasion, the Dubai Government Human Resources Department extended its highest congratulations and blessings to the wise leadership, the government and people of the United Arab Emirates, and to the residents of its land, calling on God Almighty to make the new Hijri year a year full of goodness, prosperity and blessings, and to grant the UAE the blessing of security and stability.
