Countdown celebrations for the 2026 World Cup begin in 3 host cities

Today, FIFA announced the addition of a new group of artists participating in the series of countdown concerts to the 2026 World Cup, which will be held simultaneously for the first time in the Canadian cities of Toronto, Mexico City in Mexico, and Los Angeles in the United States on June 10, marking the start of the tournament celebrations.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held in the United States of America, Mexico and Canada, from June 11 to July 19, with the participation of 48 teams for the first time.

The Toronto concert will witness the participation of “The Beaches” band, alongside the previously announced artists.

In Mexico City, Maestro Andrea Bocelli joins the list of participating artists. In Los Angeles, Ava Max and…BIA To the artistic program, in addition to the previously announced artists.

The concerts will be held in cooperation with the Grammy Foundation, with the participation of a number of international artists included in the official album of the 2026 World Cup, in addition to surprise performances and live segments linking the three host cities.

FIFA explained that fans can book tickets for concerts in the three cities as anticipation increases for the start of the tournament, while the events will be broadcast live through the digital channels and broadcast platforms of the International Federation.
