Explosions rock the southern coast of Iran near the Strait of Hormuz

Iranian media reported early Thursday that explosions sounded in southern Iran near the Strait of Hormuz, after Washington announced defensive strikes.
Media reports indicated that explosions were heard in the southern coastal city of Bandar Abbas, on Qeshm Island, and in the cities of Minab and Sirik.
Iranian sources reported that Qeshm and the cities of Karkan and Sirik were hit.
