Flydubai expands its network in Nepal with daily flights to Pokhara

Flydubai announced the launch of its new daily flights to Pokhara International Airport, making it its second destination in Nepal. Flights will operate starting September 23 from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport.

With the start of daily flights to Pokhara, the second largest city in Nepal and its tourist capital, flydubai becomes the first airline to operate direct flights to this vital city from the UAE. This step reflects the carrier’s continued expansion in Nepal, as the company has been successfully serving Nepal since 2009, and has transported nearly four million passengers so far.

Since entering the market 17 years ago, flydubai has continued to expand its operations steadily to meet the growing demand for travel, as the carrier’s seat capacity has increased more than 12 times since the start of flights, as flights to Kathmandu increased to five flights per day during peak seasons to facilitate travel for businessmen and tourists, in addition to visits to family and friends.

Located near the Annapurna mountain range, Pokhara is world-famous as a leading hub for leisure and adventure tourism in Nepal.
