Signing projects worth more than $4 billion at the China and South Asia Expo

BEIJING, 17 JUNE / WAM / The activities of the tenth edition of the China and South Asia Expo, which concluded yesterday, Tuesday, in the city of Kunming in Yunnan Province, southwest China, witnessed the signing of deals worth more than 27.7 billion yuan (about 4.07 billion dollars).

The signed contracts included projects in the fields of internal and external trade worth 10.25 billion yuan, and investment cooperation projects worth 17.49 billion yuan, an increase of 20.9% and 28.5%, respectively, compared to the previous edition of the exhibition.

The six-day event attracted participants from 68 countries, regions and international organizations, and a total of 2,301 domestic and foreign companies participated.

This year, the exhibition focused on enhancing regional trade and industrial cooperation under the slogan “Solidarity and Coordination for Common Development.”
