Washington will resume military action if Iran does not fulfill its obligations

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told reporters today that the United States will resume military operations and reimpose the blockade if Iran does not adhere to its obligations under the agreement concluded with it.

Hegseth said in Brussels after his meeting with NATO defense ministers, “The President indicated that we will be prepared to resume military operations if Iran does not adhere to what it promised within the specified time frame of these talks.”

He added, “If Iran does not comply, we are fully capable of re-imposing a tight blockade.”
