End-of-year exams are completely electronic…no paper or remote exams

Public and private schools that implement the Ministry of Education’s curriculum have stressed that the end-of-school tests for the 2025-2026 academic year, which begins on June 24 and continues until July 3 for students in grades five through twelfth, will be held entirely electronically within schools, without any written paper tests or tests carried out remotely, within the framework of implementing the digital evaluation system approved by the Ministry.

School administrations informed students and parents through school circulars and letters, seen by Emirates Today, of the necessity of early preparation for tests by ensuring the readiness of personal laptops and access to approved educational platforms and digital systems, in a way that ensures that tests are performed smoothly and without technical obstacles that may affect the conduct of the exam.

She stressed that all final exams for the third semester will be conducted in person on the school campus, and that attendance is mandatory for all students, stressing that there are no paper alternatives or exceptions that allow electronic exams to be converted into written exams.

She explained that schools will not provide additional computers to students during the exam period, which makes it a basic requirement for the student and guardian to ensure that the devices are ready, charged, and updated before the exam date.

School administrations confirmed that the complete shift towards electronic tests reflects the Ministry of Education’s direction to enhance the digital educational environment, develop measurement and evaluation tools in line with the goals of digital transformation and raise the efficiency of the educational process.

She called on students to benefit from the experimental tests and simulation sessions that were carried out during the last period, to learn about the mechanisms of accessing educational platforms, using the secure browser, and dealing with electronic testing systems, especially for fifth grade students who are taking final exams electronically for the first time.

The schools indicated that the success of the digital exam experience depends on technical readiness in addition to academic readiness, stressing the importance of adhering to the instructions regulating the exams, attending on the specified dates, and bringing personal devices ready for use, in order to ensure that exams are conducted efficiently and regularly.

These measures come in conjunction with intensive preparations being witnessed by public and private schools implementing the ministerial curriculum, to ensure that final exams are implemented electronically in accordance with the highest standards of technical and organizational readiness, and in a way that achieves justice and equal opportunities among all students.
