Workers’ compensation increased by 10.1% in April… and building permits increased by 28.2%

The index of workers’ compensation index increased in Saudi Arabiaby 10.1% on an annual basis last April.

On a monthly basis, the operating income index index recorded a decrease of 3.8%, affected by a decrease in industrial, mining and quarrying activities by 19.1%, wholesale and retail trade activities and vehicle repair, which decreased by 1.5%, a decrease in financial and insurance activities by 2.5%, and a decrease in both information and communications activities and transportation and storage activities by 1.5% and 4.9%, respectively.

April 2025 AD.

Compared to the month of March, 2026 AD, building permits issued recorded an increase of 42.5%, while the number of building permits issued there reached (5,162) permits.
