“Industry”: Issuing 322 industrial licenses with investments of 12.3 billion riyals during April
The Ministry issued Industry and Mineral Resources 322 new industrial licenses were issued during the month of April 2026, while production began in 188 new factories during the same month, according to a report by the Ministry’s National Center for Industrial and Mining Information.
The report, which monitors industrial indicators on a monthly basis, indicated that the volume of investments associated with the new licenses amounted to more than 12.33 billion SAR, and it is expected that these projects will contribute to providing more than 2,977 job opportunities in various regions of the Kingdom.
The value of investments in factories that began production during the month of April amounted to 2.01 billion riyals, with job opportunities estimated at 3,606 new jobs, which reflects the continued expansion of the industrial base in the Kingdom, and the high pace of factories entering actual operation.
The Ministry issues monthly reports through the National Center For industrial and mining information, the most prominent Industrial indicators, which reflect the movement of industrial activity in the Kingdom, including the volume of new investments, the number of licenses issued, and factories starting production, within the framework of enhancing transparency and keeping pace with monitoring the industrial growth process witnessed by the Kingdom.
