Opening of the 22nd session of the Dubai International Wood Exhibition with international participation

DUBAI, 22nd June / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade, today opened the activities of the 22nd session of the Dubai International Wood and Wood Machinery Exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Center, which is considered one of the most prominent events specialized in the wood sector, machinery and manufacturing techniques in the region.
The exhibition’s activities will continue until June 24, as it includes more than 400 exhibitors and more than 600 international brands, in addition to 5 international pavilions and participation from more than 45 countries, which confirms the broad global presence of the event and its status as a specialized platform that brings together various actors in the wood sector value chain.
The opening of this year’s session comes at a time when the global timber and wood manufacturing sector is witnessing rapid transformations led by automation, artificial intelligence, robotics, and advanced materials, in light of the growth in demand across the construction, furniture, and industrial applications sectors. The exhibition has emerged as a platform that showcases the new generation of smart industry technologies and advanced solutions.
His Excellency stressed that the Dubai International Wood and Wood Machinery Exhibition represents a leading global platform that contributes to strengthening trade partnerships and expanding the horizons of cooperation between various actors in the sector, noting that the exhibition is an important platform for constructive dialogue and enhancing economic integration in a way that supports paths of sustainable growth and mutual prosperity among the participating countries.
He said: “The Dubai International Wood and Wood Machinery Exhibition, in its 22nd session, seeks to continue to consolidate its position as a prominent international event that brings together actors in this vital sector in a way that contributes to adopting the latest innovations and technologies, exchanging experiences, and building new trade and investment relationships that support the growth and development of the sector.”
His Excellency added: “Dubai and the UAE continue to consolidate their position as a global destination for business and investment thanks to their advanced economic system and environment that supports growth and innovation. They also continue to attract quality investments and leading companies in various economic sectors, enhancing their position as a major driver of trade and economic growth at the regional and global levels.”
The list of participants in this year’s session includes a number of prominent companies and entities from regional and international markets, including SCM, ACE MICA, CEFLA, IMac, Holtzcraft and other companies specialized in wood, machinery, digital solutions, and advanced industrial materials. The official lists of exhibitors also confirm that the exhibition brings together suppliers and manufacturers from more than 50 global markets, including the UAE, France, Portugal, China, India, Russia and others, which enhances the international dimension of the event and gives it direct practical value for exhibitors and visitors alike.
