Starting from 370 dirhams.. “Aber” performs vehicle inspections from homes and workplaces in Dubai

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai called on customers to take advantage of the “Aber” service for mobile technical inspection of vehicles, which allows vehicle owners to complete the official technical inspection at the location of their choice, whether at home, the workplace, or the locations of company fleets, for fees starting from 370 dirhams.

The Authority explained that the service it launched aims to provide a more flexible and easy experience for customers, without visiting inspection centers, as the mobile inspection units approved by the Authority move to the specified location to conduct the official technical inspection of the vehicles.

According to the information published on the service platform, the fees start from 370 dirhams, with the possibility of the cost varying according to the additional services required or other fees applied according to the type of service.

The Authority confirmed that inspections are conducted by inspectors accredited by the Authority, using officially approved inspection equipment and systems, and that the inspection results are recorded directly in the Authority’s electronic system.

The service includes a number of approved types of examinations, including “vehicle registration renewal examination, ownership transfer examination, export examination, in addition to the vehicle data update examination.”
