Our next step is to export locally developed technology

AIREV announced that the Minister of Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, assumed the presidency of its board of directors. It is the Emirati company specializing in assistive artificial intelligence, which is affiliated with the OnDemand platform, which is an operating system for assistive artificial intelligence with special specifications that was developed in the UAE and is being operated in markets around the world.
This step comes to align the goals of one of the most prominent Emirati technology companies with the national trade agenda, at a time when the country is working to expand its export base to include high-value digital and artificial intelligence services.
The UAE aims to increase its exports of services related to advanced technologies and digital services as part of the country’s foreign trade strategy.
His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi stressed that the growth witnessed in the field of assistive artificial intelligence in the country, with the contribution of companies such as AIREV, reflects the next stage of the UAE’s export ambitions.
Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi said: “The UAE has succeeded in building one of the most vibrant trading economies in the world, and our next step is to export not only goods and services, but also locally developed technology and associated intellectual property.”
He added that AIREV is an Emirati company whose platform and innovative solutions have been able to gain the trust and approval of a group of major international technology companies, and to reach the most demanding markets around the world. I look forward to working with the company’s team during its next expansion phase, ensuring the enhancement of its contribution to achieving our national goals of increasing exports of non-oil services, and contributing to consolidating the UAE’s position as a global center for advanced industries.
AIREV entered the UAE market in February 2024 through the Next Generation Foreign Direct Investment initiative, with the support of Core42, a subsidiary of the G42 Group.
Over the course of approximately two and a half years, the company has evolved into a fully integrated assistive operating platform for production uses, with an estimated value of approximately $200 million.
The OnDemand platform is the company’s flagship product, which is a low- or no-code operating system that allows the building, deployment, and management of autonomous artificial intelligence agents. The platform is designed to work according to customer needs, giving governments and regulated institutions full control over their data, models, and infrastructure.
The platform serves more than 4 million users who rely on artificial intelligence around the world, and provides more than 300 agents and specialized tools in more than 50 languages.
During the past year, the company established a network of strategic partnerships extending across the global artificial intelligence and semiconductor ecosystem. It entered into a strategic partnership with Intel to improve the performance of the OnDemand platform on its processors, and then to provide independent artificial intelligence agents on Intel computers supported by artificial intelligence.
It entered into a partnership with the American chip company Tenstorrent to cooperate in developing a high-performance system for assistive artificial intelligence dedicated to institutional and sovereign applications, including launching a specialized center for developing assistive artificial intelligence in the UAE.
AIREV registered the OnDemand platform in the North American market, and established a distribution network extending from Abu Dhabi to American technology companies, in a step that is the first of its kind for an Emirati software company that combines the adoption of electronic chips, pre-installation on devices, and commercial registration in the American market within an integrated system.
The extent of this activity is shown through indicators of use. During the year 2025, the company’s combined products exceeded the barrier of one trillion tokens, a precedent for a Gulf technology company of this size, while during the second quarter of 2026 alone, they reached 6.8 trillion tokens, nearly six times the previous level. Each token generated outside the country represents a unit of intelligence developed in the Emirates and exported to global markets.
The company’s capital structure reflects the same export-oriented approach. Along with Core42, AIREV has attracted investments from VentureWave Capital, one of Ireland’s leading venture capital firms, as well as Titian Capital, and is currently pursuing a Series A2 funding round.
On the distribution front, Redington, one of the largest technology distributors in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, has been appointed as the official distributor of AIREV solutions during the period 2026-2027, with plans to expand to European markets, giving the OnDemand platform wide reach through well-established distribution channels.
The founder and CEO of AIREV, Mohammed Khaled, said: “Dr. Thani Al-Zeyoudi assuming the chairmanship of the Board of Directors represents an important milestone in the company’s journey by linking the UAE’s foreign trade strategy based on expanding the country’s network of trading partners, and a company whose entire strategy is based on exporting developed technology to markets around the world, and our goal is to prove that Emirati artificial intelligence is capable of competing and exportable globally.”
AIREV’s expansion into global markets coincides with the UAE’s goals of moving from an importer of advanced technology to an exporter of it, and by integrating software developed in the country into approved global devices and distributing it through institutional and governmental channels, which turns every deployment of the OnDemand platform outside the country into a non-oil export value resulting from local software engineering, which is the most profitable and fastest growing category within the economic diversification goals contained in the “We Are the Emirates 2031” vision.
