Oil prices decreased by about 1% upon settlement
Oil prices Brent crude fell by 82 cents, or 1.1%, and reached $77.08 per barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate crude fell by 0.9%, equivalent to 65 cents, to reach $73.21 per barrel.
The two indexes recorded their lowest levels in about 4 months during a trading session.
