The Head of State and the Syrian Foreign Minister discuss cooperation relations and developments in the region

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received yesterday the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, Asaad Al-Shaibani.
At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Shaibani conveyed to His Highness the greetings of the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmed Al-Shara, and his wishes for the UAE to continue development and prosperity, while His Highness conveyed to him his greetings to President Ahmed Al-Shara, and his wishes for Syria and its brotherly people further development and progress.
His Highness discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs the fraternal relations between the two countries, and the level of development of the various paths of cooperation between them, especially in the developmental and economic fields, in a way that serves their development priorities and mutual interests, and brings goodness and development to their people. The meeting also touched on a number of regional issues and topics of common interest, most notably the developments taking place in the Middle East region.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of sheikhs and officials.
