Japanese stocks decline"Nikki" falls 3.7%

Tokyo, June 26 / WAM / Japanese stock indices fell, and the Nikkei index fell today, retreating from its highest closing level ever due to losses of 12 percent for SoftBank Group shares, following the issuance of a report on the postponement of the initial public offering of OpenAI.
The Nikkei fell 3.7 percent to 69,704.88 points, after rising 4.6 percent in the last session.
The broader Topix index fell 1.18 percent to 3968.96.
