"Muslim sages" Strongly condemns the terrorist bombing in Damascus
Abu Dhabi, July 3 / WAM / The Muslim Council of Elders strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that occurred in the Syrian capital, Damascus, and resulted in the death and injury of a number of people.
In a statement today, the Council affirmed its categorical rejection of such sinful terrorist acts, which contradict the teachings of the true Islamic religion, all divine laws, and international charters and norms, reiterating its firm position rejecting all forms of violence and terrorism that aim to terrorize the safe and destabilize security and stability.
The Council of Muslim Elders expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of the Syrian Arab Republic, asking God Almighty to grant the injured a speedy recovery.
