Etihad Rail calls for a passenger to choose “Seat No. 1” on its inaugural journey

In conjunction with preparations for the preliminary start of passenger train services next Tuesday, Etihad Rail invited community members to nominate a person who deserves national recognition for her contributions to community service.
The company stated that it seeks, through a national initiative it launched entitled “The Passenger Who Represents Us All,” to honor a person who made a positive impact on the lives of others, and whose owner’s contributions reflected noble national values ​​that are consistent with the authentic identity of the UAE.

She explained that in an exceptional trip that embodies a historic achievement, the person chosen will occupy “Seat No. 1 in Compartment No. 1,” to be the first passenger on board the first passenger train flight, which will launch in its preliminary operational phase from Fujairah to Abu Dhabi on June 30.

The Executive Director of the Commercial Sector at Etihad Rail Passenger Services Company, Adhraa Al Mansouri, said in press statements, “With this initiative, we wanted to honor one of the people who embody national values ​​through their contributions to the country, in appreciation of the personalities who contributed to strengthening the cohesion of society, supporting its members, and moving the UAE forward towards a better future.”

The initiative provides the opportunity for nomination to everyone from different parts of the country, calling on community members to nominate a friend, family member, colleague, neighbor, or any member of the community, mentioning the reasons that make them believe he deserves to be honored.

Etihad Railways will review the names of the candidates and their achievements, and the person selected will be announced before the first passenger train flight operates.
