The head of the Terrorist Crimes Prosecution in Bahrain stated that the Bahraini Grand Criminal Court, in its session held today, Tuesday, issued a ruling in a case that included the commission of crimes of violence and sabotage during the sinful Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain last March, ruling to punish the accused with five years in prison and confiscate the seized items.

The details of the incident, according to the Bahraini News Agency, are due to the Bahraini Public Prosecution receiving a report from the competent security department of the Ministry of Interior stating that the accused was arrested red-handed at the scene of the incident following his participation in acts of violence and sabotage that coincided with the sinful Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain, and then he was presented to the Public Prosecution.

The Bahraini Public Prosecution began its investigations into the incident, interrogating the accused in detail, guaranteeing his rights and the investigation guarantees assigned to him, and ordered his provisional detention pending investigation, and to question witnesses to the incident. In light of what the evidence revealed, it was decided to refer him to the High Criminal Court, which examined the case in several sessions and issued its advanced ruling.

The Bahraini Public Prosecution affirmed that it will not hesitate to take deterrent legal measures against anyone who commits any act that would disturb public security, or endanger the stability of society or the safety of its members, and that it will firmly confront all forms of violence, within the framework of enforcing the law and protecting the security and stability of society.
