NEW YORK, 1st July / WAM / The main indices on the American Wall Street Stock Exchange closed higher on Tuesday, as the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index rose by 0.75%, the Nasdaq Composite Index rose by 1.45%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 0.22%.

The Standard & Poor’s 500 and Nasdaq Composite indexes concluded the second quarter of the year with the largest quarterly gains since 2020, supported by continued investor optimism about economic growth and profits.
