His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Cabinet, chaired the meeting of the Ministerial Council for Artificial Intelligence and Development, which was held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. During the meeting, the Council reviewed the latest developments in the assistive artificial intelligence project in the federal government, the implementation stages, paths and targets, and the proposed projects to support the transformation program by adopting artificial intelligence technologies and solutions in various fields that included: business practice, institutional governance, cybersecurity, and other sectors of government work in the country. Emirates.

During the meeting, the Council also reviewed the results of studies conducted to evaluate the development of a number of national sectors, which included: developments in the labor market in the country, the strategic stock of basic commodities in the country, and other strategic and vital sectors, as well as discussing a number of legislative amendments submitted to reorganize a number of sectors, which included: the residency and visa system, government services, and government human resources.

In government affairs, the Council discussed the Federal National Council’s requests related to Emiratisation policies in the private sector and health insurance. It also reviewed the Council’s recommendations regarding student admission programs for higher education, missions and scholarships, the safety and flow of traffic, organizing the statistical sector and open data, and enhancing the state’s competitiveness, in addition to protecting the family, its concept and entity.
